About Paradise.

For more than thirty years, the property at Tobacco Caye Paradise was a vacation property for the Belisle family, a local Creole family based in Dangriga. About fourteen years ago, one of the sons decided to convert the property to a guest lodge while still maintaining the family vacation home. There are now six cabanas, 2 Seaview Rooms, The Bunkhouse and a dining area on the property.

In 2015, Tobacco Caye Paradise became part of the Belize Adventure Group, a collection of the most unique destinations, places to stay, and things to do in Belize. The Belize Adventure Group consists of Island Expeditions, Island Adventures, Bocawina Rainforest Resort, Bocawina Adventures, and Tobacco Caye Paradise.

Island Expeditions began partnering with Tobacco Caye Paradise in 2008, making it a key stop on several of their signature trips, including:  Paradise Islands, Coral Islands SUP, and Rainforest & Reef Adventure . This little island and its laid-back lodge perfectly complement the unique reef and rainforest destinations featured throughout their Belize adventures.

Since then, several other small lodges have opened on the island, inspired by our success, contributing to a vibrant and welcoming community. Tobacco Caye has grown into a truly unique destination, perfect for travelers seeking an authentic and laid-back Belizean island experience.
